Upper Room Christian School serves grades 1st through 12th and features a full-day kindergarten program; a developmental elementary school and professional New York State certified teachers. URCS offers daily Bible/Devotional classes to all students; a weekly Chapel Service; specialty classes including: Art, Music, Physical Education, Computer Education, Driver's Education, Foreign Language Classes, high school Science Labs, Band, Choir and Health classes. Upper Room Christian School has an extensive tutoring program and a comprehensive special education program, including district-provided Resource Room for IEP students. URCS has after school varsity team sports, such as basketball, baseball, volleyball and cheerleading.

 

 

Currently Upper Room Christian School has College Preparatory Academy Program. Upper Room College Preparatory Academy (UR-CPA) is a subsidiary of Upper Room Christian School (URCS), which is a private K-12 school, located in Dix Hills, Long Island, New York, USA and is sponsored by our church, Upper Room Christian World Center. Our school was founded in 1981 by Bishop Anthony D'Onofrio and Pastor Samuel R. Hashim and is registered with the New York State Board of Regents. Upper Room College Preparatory Academy is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. We have been accepting, teaching and graduating international students since the year 2000.UR-CPA features College level math and other college level academic courses as part of a Cooperative Extension Program with St. John's University, as well as several A.P. courses. In addition to New York State certified teachers, UR-CPA has a distinguished faculty of college professors from area colleges and universities. UR-CPA offers extensive college guidance services to all students domestic and international, and we have placed students into many TIER 1 college and universities. Our guidance department and faculty works to help students pass the New York State Regents exams, SAT and ACT tests, along with extensive TOEFL exam preparation. Upper Room College Preparatory Academy offers both New York State Regent diplomas and local diplomas to our graduates.
